The new .tel proxy has been launched today 04 March 2010
The much awaited update by all .Tel domain owners and fans is now live and looks promising.
Although I haven’t had a chance to try the new features from Telhosting interface but this update definitely worth the wait.
New DotTel Proxy Features
- More scope to customize your .tel
- Choose a colour scheme from a selection of templates
- Add a link to your photo or logo
- You can have a different graphic in every folder
- The search function on .Tel site (Search within .Tel or All .Tels)
- Hide the “All .tels” search mode
- Custom icons for popular online services
- Place Google Adsense Ads
The whole new update will help you create a truly personalized online presence on your .tel
Note: The .Tel search function is not working yet (as I write this)

I have been waiting for this update since 2 months
can’t wait to get my hands on the new features
great news
i will start developing my 50+ domains now
thanks
CD
Design Looks Fantastic!
Telnic should remove their log it’s annoying there dominating the content of site.
the tel logo looks odd
telnic please remove it
just wondered how a tel is looking now. it now similar to a proper website
though dot tel has given it a body, the new design looks like it has no head..may be this is because it lacks some logo over the top like the traditional one which we are used to see…:p
thanks telcritic for the info…this inspires me to let my 15 babies on board …just waiting if this feature is going to be there or not and finally got it..am excited!!
well to me, its just another update I dont know why you all are so excited, no matter what the design is, people are going to access it if they feel its appealing and worth a try in their mobile
nice start from dot tel…i appreciate the update but would love to upload the logo rather than keeping the dot tel logo
@domainer
can i ask you a question? if you donot own domains, then you must be true from your perception as you wont likely see any trouble of the domainer out there!
however if you are the one with domains, then i doubt if you know anything about it! it will make a “difference” to a domainer if you knw what it takes to be the developer of your domains
furthermore, i like the idea of this feature
It just gives me new excitement in developing my other domains that were paused from developing a couple of months ago!
now i hope my some of the domains get sold
hey thanks for the update, will give my feedback once i get my hands on
so is it possible to upload our own logo at the top?
i am still waiting for the add onfeature of making this more developer friendly
hey i havenot yet checked this on my mobile, if the same appears in it
